My cousin is a qualified hair dresser and beauty therapist. I'm a professional photographer. So the idea is, we would go the client's home where they would request however many beauty/hair treatments they wanted in order to make them look beautiful for a photo shoot afterwards. I was wondering about the technicalities of running such a business. Maybe whether we'd need a license or something? Sounds a good idea but...
i see a few problems here
a make over is not quick!
what will you do all this time?
what will she do when you take the pics?
where will you take the pics as back drop is important too
travel time for two people is expensive
seems to be a lot of time one person does very little!
how much demand is there?
you also seem to limit your skills to just one area of photography
But there must be a market in the wedding service area so think that might be a good area to focus

Come on first get advice from the source ie; your partner must have trained somewhere get her to see old friends in the same work , see how many people who are mobile hair dressers,you don,t need a licence only a portfolio and recomendation letters from clients, the same with you then look into weddings etc.
Yeah i think you would need a license cause you might get in a bundle of trouble if you need one and you don't have one.
