What does the actor playing the beast have to do to turn back into the beast inside the castle and how is it shielded from the audience?How does the Beauty and the Beast transformation scene occur on Broadway?
well I recently saw it on vacation in barcelona...and the basic stage set up was a high tower where at least two people can stand at once and when belle sees him she drapes him with her coat/cape thingy lol and i think there was like a fan under him so it just started to kinda bulge up and stuff...and I believe it wasn't the main beast who fought gaston it's the stunt double...and when he dies the actual beast is in the tower waiting for his cue...and i also think there was a trap door under the beast and then they did the switch the beast went through trap door while the fan was blowing and then the prince got in the same spot as the beast...if it's a little confusing I'm sorry...I wrote this based on memory of about a month ago...anyways hope this helps ';/
