How do you feel about child beauty pageants?

I think it's really horrible to put these small children into those things, 5 yr old girl's faces filled with warpaint (makeup) and pimping them out on stage for some stupid trophy.How do you feel about child beauty pageants?
It teaches children their worth is based on their beauty.It teaches kids the inside of humanity is not important only the superficial outside is.It teaches kids to be vain and it OBJECTIFIES and EXPLOITS kids.How do you feel about child beauty pageants?
yes, it's a poor little girl .. They should learn to get knowledge, not beautify themselves at an early age, just to get the trophies? it's better to get the trophy in a contest of knowledge rather than beauty, nothing great from it.

I like the parents who put their children in the pageants as naturals for scholarships. (as in no make up, no surgeries, no fake t.ts, no extensions). I hate people who put their kids in with botox and they're only like 6. they look like mini sl.ts

It is child exploitation. The children can not give their consent to participate in this ';activity.'; Unlike other things, beauty pageants can have harmful mental affects on these children's self-esteem and it teaches them the wrong values.
I think ALL beauty pageants are degrading.
Personally, I think it is child abuse!
Weird.. Children shouldnt look ';sexy'; which is what they are doing with all that makeup and big hair and dresses...
Those kids will be damaged for life.
